Things I am often asked
Do you do commission work?
This one breaks my heart, but I have learned over the years that commission work takes the fun out of creating for me. So, no, I no longer take commissions.
Will you ship to me?
At this time, only items listed as available to ship can be shipped. Most of the larger items (like big macramé) are just too darn bulky, or heavy, or just such an odd size and shape that packaging is too time intensive and shipping is cost prohibitive. Anything unable to ship will be available for local pick up from my in-home studio in Boise, Idaho.
Will you do another pop-up shop?
Probably! I’m also looking into craft fairs, holiday bazaars, consignment shops, and whatnot. If you know of a place I should sling my wares, drop me a line and tell me about it!
Why aren’t you doing ____ anymore?
As an artist, I have to follow the dopamine. If tying knots in rope brings me joy, then I will continue to make macramé until it no longer makes me happy or until my hands can’t handle it. In the past, I’ve made all kinds of things, including some pretty amazing pet portraits, some giant acrylic abstract paintings, knit dishcloths and baby clothes, folk art drawings, clay beads and mobiles, stickers, hand lettered wedding signs, 3D paper cutouts, mixed media paintings, miniature greenhouses and booknooks, UV resin crafts, needle felting, diamond painting, woven pine needle baskets…the list goes on. So what is available is entirely dependent on what I feel like making, and whether I’m ready to part with it when it is done.
Do you teach?
YES!! I’m currently offering craft party classes, for a variety of crafts. Head over to the “BeanCraft Parties” or “SoulCraft Parties” tab to learn more!
If you have an idea or request for a particular type of craft, let me know, and I’ll toy with it. Don’t forget to join my mailing list for updates! And finally, if you have venue suggestions, hit me up.
